This is a pretty vintage 1910's silver plated compact powder, mirror and coin or change purse with a mesh wristlet made by WHSCO.

The piece measures approximately 3 1/4 inches in length by 2 1/2 inches in width.

It's in very good vintage condition, but does have a cracked mirror that could be replaced by the new owner. It has two spring loaded coin holders, a covered powder compartment with a celluloid writing tablet on the back side of the lid, as well as a spring loaded clip for holding money papers or cigarettes.

The interior powder compartment lid pops open sometimes, and could use a slight adjustment. The exterior hinge and closure work just fine.

It is monogrammed with the initials "CJF" on the back of the piece.

It is hallmarked "silver plated" and has a circle with arched lines at top and bottom and the letters WHSCO in the middle.

This is a lovely early 1910's piece to add to your vintage collection.
